Report a crime

It’s not always easy to report crimes that have happened to you, or that you’ve seen.

But it is important to report illegal things to the police, to help make them stop and to make sure other people won’t go through the same thing from the same person.

No matter what type of crime you have been affected by – whether it is something minor, serious or sensitive –  we have specially trained staff who will understand what you need and will help to support you through the process.

For help in reporting a crime, or support following anything crime-related, our MyVoice tool can walk you through the process. Alternatively, contact us for help and support in reporting a crime.

To report a crime to the police:

  • if it’s an emergency, dial 999; or
  • if it’s not an emergency, call the police on 101 – this is the non-emergency number – or click here.

If you don’t want to speak to the police, or are worried about anything, speak to Voice. We’re here to help, whatever you need.
