{"id":517,"date":"2016-11-17T11:55:14","date_gmt":"2016-11-17T11:55:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voicenorthants.org\/cyp\/?page_id=517"},"modified":"2016-11-23T16:27:48","modified_gmt":"2016-11-23T16:27:48","slug":"scaring-stalking-0-10","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.voicenorthants.org\/cyp\/advice\/drugs-and-alcohol\/scaring-stalking-0-10\/","title":{"rendered":"Scaring and stalking  0-10"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When someone else does things that make you feel frightened, scared or embarrassed, this is called <strong>harassment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>What is harassment?<\/h2>\n<p>Examples of harassment are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>horrible phone calls or nasty emails;<\/li>\n<li>saying things which make you feel scared;<\/li>\n<li>breaking things to scare you \u2013 such as smashing windows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When someone repeatedly harasses someone else, this is called stalking.<\/p>\n<h2>What is stalking?<\/h2>\n<p>Examples of stalking are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>always following someone and\/or turning up at the same place as them;<\/li>\n<li>spying on someone; and<\/li>\n<li>not going away when someone asks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Stalking can also happen online and through social media and is called cyber-stalking. If you\u2019re being harassed or stalked:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>tell an adult that you trust. They will help you;<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voicenorthants.org\/cyp\/contact-us\/\">speak to Voice<\/a><\/strong>. We\u2019ve helped loads of people just like you who\u2019ve had to deal with this; or<\/li>\n<li>call the police.
