Theft is when someone takes something of yours without asking and doesn\u2019t give it back. This is the same as stealing.<\/p>\n

Robbery is when someone takes something of yours and hurts you or says they will hurt you if you don\u2019t give it to them.<\/p>\n

How should I feel if I\u2019ve been robbed or had something stolen?<\/h2>\n

There is no right or wrong way to feel. You might be feeling angry, scared or guilty \u2013 it\u2019s ok to feel anything. If you have something taken from you, it\u2019s not your fault.\u00a0 Even if you left it somewhere, it is still not your fault that someone took it!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

What should I do if I have something stolen or robbed?<\/h2>\n
